my iphone has a new app.

OK, I downloaded a Pantone color pick app... about 6 months ago, used it a few times it is so great! I used the camera to take a photo of some beautiful Ginkgo leaves on a tree.  Here is what showed up on the app... now I just snapped a photo of the screen and just like that I have a photo of the colors in Pantone I can send, use, blog about and use to match with other Pantone colors... the applications are endless!  I am awed! ~~ >> just had to share my amazement! SMILE!

Don't disturb the Fish!

Yes, I was traveling this last summer!   I had no idea Scottish Salmon were so picky!  This just made me smile! 

This was a fantastic summer, I was so busy I didn't get a chance to post much.  So, I will be catching up on my post....this is a photo of me and my family when we visited the memorial in Amsterdam.  It was a touching, bonding, sad, moment that has helped us all put some of our grief to rest and helped with looking forward to our bright future.

So we went fishing!

I love to go fishing... after this photo was taken we caught three more. It was a beauiful day! Fun on the water for the whole gang!

Here is a beauty, I cooked this one for lunch the next day!

My daughter caught this one and I almost couldn't wait to eat it. Sushi is good too!

Alligator Bites !

So yes there is a place in Texas (Pappadeaux Seafood) where you can order an appetizer that is fried Alligator, so I will not pass up an opportunity to try something new ... ok most things will have to have a low yech factor, but I tried this and it was wonderful. Not chewy, tasted like chicken crossed with a tuna. yummy I will have it again.

Jesus makes many statements in the Gospel of John, but this is the only commandment that he identifies as such, calling it "new." Perhaps if he emphasized it so specifically, we should cling to it with every ounce of our effort.
